Now hiring SHEQ Manager

Key Accountabilities:

Management of safety, health, quality and environmental, ensuring full regulatory compliance.

Supporting and advising on all aspects of SHEQ.

The monitoring of company assets, ensuring full compliance with LOLER and PUWER and ensuring all records are kept up to date and accurate.

Overall responsibility for the process of investigating accidents, incidents, dangerous occurrences or near misses on site or at the depot and responding accordingly.

Ensure that Bronzeshield retains all current accreditations.

Monitoring and maintaining our ISO management systems.

Conducting safety audits, giving feedback to the Managing Director, the Management team and workforce.

Completing and submitting supplier tenders/PQQ submissions and ensure all are completed accurately and returned in a timely manner.

Monitoring, ordering and issuing PPE to staff.

Requirements of the Role:

Remain up to date with legislation and regulations relevant to the company.

Computer literate with a good understanding of MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

NEBOSH Construction/National General Certificate – Minimum

BSI or equivalent - Would be an advantage

Environmental management systems qualification – Would be an advantage

Experience in a SHEQ management role with line management experience

Confident in speaking within a group environment and the ability to give presentations.

A driving licence.

Attention to detail and a can-do attitude.

Ability to work within an existing team, establishing a good working relationship with
existing and future employees.

Basic Working Hours:

8am to 6pm Monday to Friday

Holiday entitlement 30 days per annum (inclusive of bank holidays)

Salary:

Commensurate with experience
